The presentation will be on database monitoring for security, compliance and systems management.

Traditional database audit logging puts a tremendous load on the database server being monitored. Application layer audit logging is more efficient but not all inclusive. Next Generation Database Logging overcomes both of these issues by monitoring the database network traffic using deep packet inspection to create the audit trails.

Mehlam Shakir, VP of Strategy & Technology and Troy Sorzano, Director of Professional Services at RippleTech will discuss database monitoring solutions. Use cases, benefits to end-users, and, how a SQL session monitoring approach can help organizations enhance data security, comply with privacy regulations, and improve service levels.
