Network Scanning
Netforcement offers both external and internal vulnerability scanning on a
one-time, monthly, quarterly, or annual basis, to satisfy the unique needs of
your organization.
Our Network Vulnerability Scanning Suite (NVSS) service, an external scan using a bundle of integrated third-party
software, is a logical first step, as it will quickly identify almost all machines
with external Internet presence, and often can find unnecessary shares, improper
IP configurations, trojans listening on ports, unneeded user accounts, and more.
We can also internally scan any machine or device which has an IP address,
to verify security settings, configurations, user accounts, open ports and running
services, the presence or absence of critical services packs and hot fixes, and
a number of other known vulnerabilities and exploits. Sample list

We also offer a deeper external scanning service, which simulates a number
of different attacks on your network, then generates a report of vulnerabilities
discovered. This is also offered either as a one-time service, or as an automated,
scheduled network risk management activity. This is usually only deployed against
servers which will retain an external ip address after your initial vulnerabilities
are addressed.
Both detailed and executive level assessment reports can be generated. Info
